We are really pleased to launch our brand new website. New colors, new design, new everything! And this is our brand new official Blog…just working out the kinks. At the bottom of the page, you can see links to the guys who helped in the redesign- Tim Gambrill designed the site and Anthony Clark made it living, breathing, and functioning! The Kerplunks have been busy little bees these past few weeks!
We had the chance to play at a whole bunch of BC schools, including Coquitlam, Langley, Port Coquitlam and Abbotsford. We even had the chance to shoot some hoops with some of the kids. So much fun!
Now we’re rocking out in the recordings studio working on our third album. It still doesn’t even have a name!
Some great news, we’ve been nominated for 10th Annual Independent Music Awards, “The Indies” for Favourite Children’s Group! This is fun. Some of the others nominated are The Funky Mamas, Chris McKhool, The Bee’s Knees and Duplex. We’re in some pretty awesome Canadian company here and offer many congrats to the other artists nominated.
Yay! Stay tuned for news about upcoming shows, summer music festivals and CD release parties. Woo Hoo!
We are proud to announce that The Kerplunks have been chosen among 15 finalists in the International Songwriting Competition for our song ‘Eggs’. We are thrilled!!!!!!
“Walk On” is rockin the awards scene, just like it’s big brother “The Kerplunks”!
We just found out that Walk On has been nominated for two categories in The Independent Music Awards, Best Children’s Album of the Year, 2009 AND Best Children’s Song of the Year ( Walk On!)
